Refund Policy
Refunds & Paid Promotional Services
Arkansas Biz Connection offers free business listings along with optional paid promotional opportunities such as Featured Business placement, Hot Spot Biz spotlights, and other promotional services that may be offered from time to time.
We want businesses to understand exactly what they are purchasing before money changes hands.
Free Business Listings
Standard business listings are provided at no charge. Because no payment is collected for a free listing, there is nothing to refund.
Featured Business & Promotional Placement
Payments for scheduled promotional placement may generally be refunded before the promotion has begun, provided work has not already been completed specifically for that promotion.
Once a Featured Business placement or other scheduled promotion has started, payments are generally non-refundable.
If Arkansas Biz Connection is unable to provide a paid promotion for reasons within our control, we may offer one of the following:
- a replacement promotional period;
- account credit toward a future promotion; or
- a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
Hot Spot Biz
Hot Spot Biz may involve writing, editing, image preparation, interviews, page creation, scheduling, and other work performed before the feature becomes public.
Because work may begin before publication, payments may become non-refundable once substantial preparation has started.
If a Hot Spot Biz feature has not yet entered production, contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Removal for Policy Violations
Refunds are not normally provided when a listing or promotion is removed because the business violated Arkansas Biz Connection policies, provided false or misleading information, engaged in abusive or fraudulent activity, or otherwise became ineligible for inclusion on the site.
Requesting a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us through our Contact page and select the most appropriate message type.
Include the business name, the service purchased, and a brief explanation of your request.
We review refund requests individually and will make reasonable efforts to resolve legitimate concerns fairly.
